Love Island star AJ Bunker revealed that she was in urgent care for 12 hours after suffering ‘excruciating pain.’
During her stint on the annual dating show, the TV personality – real name Andrea Jane – tried to strike up a romance with fellow islander Hugo Hammond before being dumped from the villa.
The 30-year-old her horrific ordeal via Instagram Stories along with a photo of a drip in her arm.
‘Over the last few days I developed pains in my back and abdomen,’ she penned.
‘I didn’t think much of it and just ignored it, however last night it became excruciatingly painful to the point of needing to go to hospital.’
She added: ‘I was in urgent care for 12 hours going through a number of tests and put on an IV, I’ve now been discharged however need to go back in the next few days for an ultrasound.’
The star later urged fans to ‘listen to your body,’ after she ‘ignored’ the pain.
She concluded: ‘Don’t do what I did with ignoring pains and aches until it gets extremely bad, but thank you to the nurses and doctors who took care of me at the L&D.’
At the beginning of the year, AJ revealed she had another health scare during her holiday in Sri Lanka.
‘Happy New Year you beauties. Sorry for being so quiet,’ she told her 117K followers.
‘I became really ill when I got back from Sri Lanka.
‘To the point where I had to go to urgent care. Since then I’ve been focusing on getting 100% better.’
She added: ‘Whilst catching up with my family/friends, I’m finally feeling better & will be back to posting. Wishing you all the happiest new year & all the best for 2023! All my love.’
