Looks like Love Island<\/a> star Jake Cornish<\/a> is heading to Hollywood after landing a major film role.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old appeared on series seven of the annual dating show but quit the series alongside ex-girlfriend<\/a> Liberty Poole<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Jake has stayed out of the spotlight following his villa exit, but recently announced he’ll be starring in the upcoming film Mr Hyde: The Untold Story.<\/p>\n

‘Meet DI Jacobs,’ he wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of himself in character.<\/p>\n

‘Over the moon to announce that I am playing such a big role in the new @mrhyde_2022 untold story film.’<\/p>\n

He added: ‘Who knows ? New change of career. I\u2019ve always wanted to be involved in films and here we are. An actor I can\u2019t wait to get started on filming.’<\/p>\n

Jake isn’t the only Love Island star securing big movie roles.<\/p>\n

Winter 2023 star Olivia Hawkins recently shared that she’ll appear in the next instalment of the\u00a0Fast and Furious franchise, Fast X<\/a>. <\/p>\n

I did a scene in the new Fast and Furious,’ she told former islander Toby Aromolaran on his Fancy A Chat? Podcast.<\/p>\n

Toby asked: \u2018Fast and Furious 10?!\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018Yeah. In the party scene,’ Olivia confirmed. I don\u2019t know when it\u2019s coming out.\u2019<\/p>\n

She also explained that she shot scenes in London, not Rio De Janeiro, where filming for Fast X also took place.<\/p>\n
